Klezmerized!

We regret to announce that our violinist Dee Scholey has now left Klezmerized!.
We are currently performing as a three piece band and are excited to audition for a new band member - so watch this space!

Our next public performance will be a klezmer keilidh in Cley-next-the-Sea, Sat 1 August 2015
(details below).

Klezmerized! detail3

We are a four-piece klezmer band based in Norwich, featuring violin, clarinet, double bass, guitar, accordion, percussion, and harmony singing.

Our repertoire pays homage to the traditional Eastern European Jewish music known as klezmer, whilst putting our own 'Klezmerized!' twist on it.

The result is a spectrum of fun, lively danceable music with Middle Eastern, Gypsy and Balkan influences along with slower, soulful tunes and songs full of pathos and yearning.
